Definition: Pakistan's North-West Frontier Province, or the rugged, tribal region where northwest Pakistan shares its border with Afghanistan and links to its neighbor via the Khyber Pass. The capital is Peshawar, and the NWFP includes the lush tourist valley of Swat.
Do not confuse with Waziristan, which is in the neighboring Federally Administered Tribal Areas.
