The Last Gasp of the Vuvuzela?

The buzzing horn that has permeated the World Cup may be the soundtrack of the tournament this time around, but the horn that apparently drives some to kill or at least sparks fights may not be around for future events.

The Spanish city of Pamplona banned vuvuzelas during its famous running of the bulls. The chief of the 2012 Olympics in London wants to make sure vuvuzelas are banned during those Games. Other matches are banning the horns as well, and the Rugby World Cup won't have the horns in attendance.

This negative vuvuzela trend hasn't stopped an Austrain goldsmith, though, from creating a $21,000 white gold-and-diamond encrusted version of the now-infamous noisemaker.
